In fact since I have a lot of experience working at dealerships, I can help you when you need warranty work, and I can give you advice as you go through the experience.

When the dealer lead you to believe that you must return to them for service in order to keep your warranty valid, they are trying to trick you, don't fall into this trap! In fact when I worked at the dealership we were expected to work harder to satisfy a customer who wasn't doing their maintenance exclusively with the dealer. The theory was that the customer would be happy with the warranty work and return for their scheduled maintenance. As you know their prices are higher then ours and there is no additional benefit. We can help you as much as possible when you are getting warranty work done, or at any point infact.
